Is it just me or am I the only gardener who has a battle with the infamous little gymnasts called Squirrels? Haha! Thanks to the help from my wonderful hunters, the dogs. If it wasn't for them I would probably be missing more fruits than I have already had stolen. I know all creatures have to do what they can to survive, but with as much birdseed I put out for the local birds, I would think they would have had their fill. They have managed to take my two beautiful pears and were even brave enough to sneak past the dogs to retrieve a couple of figs. My neighbors said to watch the Tomatoes closely as well. Any Tips?

So far I haven't had problems with squirrels, which surprises me - we had an oak tree full of them in our last house. We did have a cat that chased them mercilessly. I figured that helped keep them out, but if your dogs can't, well, I'm sure the cat didn't help as much as I thought. I wish I had some advice. I hope you figure out how to keep them out of your garden. Good luck!!
