University to offer course in sustainable small-scale agriculture

Just spotted an intersting post:

Kwantlen Polytechnic University [British Colombia, Canada]  is recruiting its first students for a new degree in sustainable small-scale agriculture.

“This is a unique degree in North America and will be B.C.’s only production agriculture degree and the only one focused on 21st-century agriculture,” said Kent Mullinix, Kwantlen’s director of sustainable agriculture and food security.

“We are going to create a new class of professional,” he said.
