Never plant nasturtium plants in the garden. No matter how they are described, they smother anything within a metre. Good for baskets though.
Never over-plant baskets.
Never fill them so full of mixture there's no room for the water.
Never plant chilacoyotes near boundary fences! In fact, probably never.

Oh, I only just read the comment below mine and the soil in our raised gardens is very good so I don't know why ours have not taken over.

I have two nasturtium plants in each level of our vege garden and have not found them to be invasive at all. I did use them last week to make pesto which I found to be very delish!! Maybe you could make a wheelbarrow load of nasturtium pesto for your family and friends???
