  • Hi Sarah, part of this email is copy and paste, the rest is for you.

Are you really interested in Aquaponics?

The rest is copy and paste

    Nice to meet you.

  • Thanks Sarah, I remember your article  (and love your magazine by the way), much appreciated, Christy
  • Hi Sarah,

I am gardening in Sandringham and am interested in swapping/buying local produce. Take a look at my page and see if I am growing anything you are interested in.

    Thanks,

    Laura.

  • Hi Sarah, have first posting ready for Backyard Beekeeping blog. Just a couple of things:-
-Can we set up a reciprocal link from both websites
-what size images are required? i use less than 100kb when postings on to my webite.
-what word limit do you recommed for each blog

    Cheers, Janet
  • That sounds great Janet. I'm sure it would be of huge interest to Good's readers
  • Yes of course. I was thinking of a progress journal of sorts, of getting a hive, collecting a swarm and month to month care and maintenace of hive etc. Is that something your readers might find useful? I can include lots of photos etc.
  • hi Sarah, Thanks for the coment. I had been thinking of keeping bees for a while but it was after reading your article in Good that really spurred me on. We live in an urban setting and have three small children, one who is allergic to bee stings. I want to help the bees, pollinate my garden and hopefully get some honey too. I figure if I can do it anyone can and Topbar hives, I think, are definatly the way to go for hobby beekeepers.

Would Good magazine be interested in a bi monthly article from me on backyard Topbar beekeeping- all about siting a hive, collecting a swarm etc. We could hopefully encourage other urbanites to keep bees in a natural, sutainable way too.
I have written gardening articles for other publications, including Woman Day, in the past.
