Tell us about your garden and what you're growing

My property is in beginning stages .Am landscaping... ( read ...eradicating 5 ft high weeds) my property at the moment so busy digging, planning and planting .... have built raised garden beds for the herbs and veges and planting lots of fruits and berries. I work long hours so don't have as much time as I would like to spend in the garden but am slowly plodding along looking forward to the day when I can spend all day every day in there.

  • Hi Alli,

Thanks for your interest in our beekeeper! I will pass your details on next time I see him at the market!
  • Garden's going good. But I've almost run out of room. I see you are offering some garden space. Wish I had more time i'd be keen myself to have a bigger plot.
  • Hi Ali, how's it all going? Chilean guava's didn't grow, a bit like the first lot of pepino's. Just about to pot up the pepinos as they have grown their roots in water. Will let you know when they have taken. Hows the garden going? Seeds just not germinating around here. Too cold. K
  • Hi Alli. Pepino cuttings died while I was away. Have started some more. Will catch up when they have rooted. Haven't done the chilean guavas yet so I'd better before the soft wood gets to hard. Cheers K.
  • Hi Ali, every year I take cuttings of the pepino's I have in the glass house for my outside pepino garden. When I do you are welcome to some. Actually this year I am going to take cuttings of the chilean guava as well, so of course you are welcome to the same. This year I got some shad bushes, if they come away I'll do a couple of cuttings from them for you too. Katherine
  • That would be great. The windfall are coming ripe and I had my first one yesterday and it was lovely. Still hundreds on the tree. I have to work out a way to reach the top ones......big tree!
  • Hi, are you planning a trip up this way? Have plenty of avocados so just drop in to collect whenever. My cell 0211874 555. I've never heard of pineapple sage - sounds interesting. All the best with the chickens. Would love to have some too but need more land.
  • Hello Alli. Welcome. Thanks for joining. Hope you like the vibe here. Have fun oooobying!!
