I have a new Raspberry patch and my one plant is still small so there is room for a border of carrots until it fills out .
I do a lot of intercropping in my garden.I like to maximise the availiable planting space and keep the ground covered.
I have Chantenay, Egmont Gold and Topweight carrots.
They are ready for some thinning.
I sowed parsnips at the same time but they have been slow and few in germinating.

The raspberry is Waiau variety and this year has produced 2 small crops-one in spring and one in autumn. Nice tasty fruit.
