Baltimore's City Hall vegetable garden: an update

By Susan Reimer The vegetable gardens planted around Baltimore's War Memorial Plaza, in front of City Hall, have produced more than 1,500 pounds of vegetables for the kitchens of Our Daily Bread, which feeds the homeless.

Brilliant. There are still streets around Auckland with fruit trees planted several decades back - we could so easily do that again, as well as veges in the flower beds.

Now that's real numbers. 1,500 pounds of produce. Imagine every city corner like this.
