
Berm to be bombed

Who is down for a little urban guerrilla gardening? It is time to bomb this berm with a lovely veg/herb/flower/small fruit tree patch!
We will be meeting to do some planting in conjunction with Grey Lynn 2030 Transition Towns Event. This is an initiative to make use of the land. It will not only make the neighborhood look more attractive, yet more importantly highlights the importance of local access to the community vegetable gardens.
The aim: to replant 2X2 meters, but if we have enough plants we can go bigger!!
Area is on a main road and therefore could suit some veges, herbs, flowers for bees and fruit trees.
What is needed:
Plants/ Vegs/herbs/small fruit trees, soil, gardening tools, people to help plant
