Ingersoll is going one step further and cooking a 10-mile meal tomorrow night, with everything sourced from within 16.09 kilometres of his Waterloo cafe and bar.


''People are so unaware of how much food is growing on their doorstep in Sydney."

Wouldn't it be great if we had a bunch of restaurants committed to this concept. We are very lucky in NZ to have so much food grown in our own country, but I was in Pack and save yesterday and saw Australian beef for approximately half the price of NZ beef. Still wondering how that can be.

I'd eat a a restaurant that committed to local, organic, low carbon intensity foods every time.
