Wilderland needs your help to prevent this land to be taken off them and likely to be sold to commercial developers by the council!
Wilderland is a very special place in the Coromandel Peninsula where organic agriculture has been practiced over the last 40 years.
Wilderland is an iconic self-reliant community that has been practicing and promoting a sustainable, low impact way of living since 1964!
The Wilderland vegetable gardens, orchards and beehives have been supplying high quality, organic produce and honey to the local community for over four decades.
Wilderland is owned and operated by a Charitable Trust without private financial interests – it is maintained as an educational community for the public good so all people can come and learn about
sustainable practices, organic gardening, beekeeping, running truly
co-operative enterprises, living in conscious harmony on the land and
with each other and so much more! And thousands of people from N.Z and
around the world have done just that – living and working at Wilderland
and being inspired by what they have learnt and experienced.
At this time in the earth’s history we need places like Wilderland to survive and thrive. This is 158 acres of pristine organic farmland and native regenerating bush that is held for the common good – everyone
can benefit from it.
