I will bring 3 potted Yakon to this market (5th sept), but maybe next few weeks I can bring more! They have about an inch of growth on them, prob look more interesting when there is a couple more inches of growth for publication etc.

Pania and I likely can bring several kilos - will need to check they're ok as we harvested them about 7 weeks ago. Ate them raw and found they cause terrible gas ;-) Last night we tried them roasted and it was like eating delicious honey - we also didn't have the gassy side effect which was great!
Hope you're well.
Cheers,
Vincent

Fantastic thanks Vinnie and Pania.
Thanks for the "rooty toot toot" warning. I'll experiment both raw and cooked .

Great Angie
If you tell me at least a week in advance, I will do a piece about yakon in the GLFM newsletter
thanks Fionna
yakon is so good for diabetics or anyone wanting to watch their insulin levels. I use it grated in baking rather than using sugar. Or you can buy Yakon syryp ummm mine are too precious to sell!

Can anyone bring yakon plants or fruits for the Ooooby stall?
