Hi all. If you have, or are thinking about planting something new in the garden this summer before our first meeting. Please let us know what it is, and where it is going here :)

I built the first of the hanging seedling trays I mentioned in the secret garden. If you want to make more, there is more twine, nails, pins and bubble wrap in the bottom of the fridge. Otherwise feel free to put some seedlings in the first tray...it was bathed in sunlight this afternoon :)
This looks like a good place to put forward some thoughts on planting for this summer.
We talked about having some flowers in the Secret Garden. I think the corner under the fig tree might be a good spot - possibly too shady for vegies anyway. And then the edges of the beds next to the seating area.
I'd like to put in:
Granny's Bonnets
Sweet William
Violas
Forget-me-nots
Alyssum
Also, if there's space along the wall - some sweet peas and/or sunflowers.
Sunflowers could be good next to the bank at the Steps too.
I have slightly jumped the gun because I was in Grow from Here this arvo and, er, some impulse buying may have occurred.
We could have marigolds and borage in the main beds as companion plants too.
