My Husband and I have recently purchased a property in Bombay and want to have ethically raised beef and pork for our freezer - the problem being that I would have a problem 'knowing' any animal that we were to eat.
I would love to buy a weaner pig and bovine and work out some sort of deal with the person who would raise the animals - vet bills and additional feed etc, as well as a share of the meat. The animals would have to be raised and treated well, and dispatched in an ethical manner when their time came.
If someone who had the space to spare could please contact me via this forum, I would be eternally grateful.
