Hi all,

thanks for setting up the Te Atatu group. Im a very keen gardener and have been meanging to join ooooby for some time, and here i am...

Diane, Im always up for a cup of tea and watching other people work. In fact I can loan you my wife, shes pretty good at digging... But seriously, if you would like some help, I am more than happy to offer what I can.

Take a look at the community garden Silke (my afore-mentioned and long suffering wife) and I started. It is at 492 Te Atatu Rd, behind the communioty constables police station.

look forward to hearing from you all and meeting new people on the Peninsula

Hi, welcome to the peninsula & thanks for joining the grp. I am happy to help where possible. I hope to share my seeds one day...however my 2 yr old is limiting my productive time in the garden at the moment!
Parsley, lettuce & tomatoes, spring onions are good to be planted now

Hi!
I would love to meet other gardeners in Te Atatu Peninsula! I just moved here from a desert environment and would love some advice on what to plant and right now really 'where' to plant it... As I am getting ready to dig up part of my back yard.

I wouldn't mind sharing some tea/coffee in exchange for some advice on my backyard garden options and the opportunity to meet some fellow gardeners... :)

Hi, as there are a few of us at Te Atatu Peninsula, I thought it might be useful to set up a group.
