I study landscape architecture at Unitec and am in my second year. I have a bit of formal plant knowledge from this course but I just can't seem to keep many of my plants alive! (I hate using bug sprays or chemical fertilizers etc and time is a wee bit of an issue!) I have a herb garden that's doing pretty well though - rosemary, parsley, sorrel and mint :) I really want to improve my garden and make it work, but I just don't know where to start! Also working with a tough clay soil and sloped section isn't the easiest :P So any suggestions are much appreciated :) Andrea
