Hi everyone. Myself and my darling husband bought a property that previously belonged to an older generation ladie who clearly had a lot of time on her hands! In our yard we an orange tree, an ugly fruit, easy peel mandarin, regular mandarin, a (rather pathetic) lemon tree, a grapefruit AND a pear tree. There WAS a vegetable patch but I was pregnant when we moved in so that kind of got left to become jungle. Turns out that was a bad idea and now parsnip has taken over! We have re-dug all the beds, trying our best to get rid of as many parsnips as we can but they are just everywhere!. Oh, there is also a grapevine, and a monster of a rhubarb plant. HELP haha. *Update* We have successfully grown brocolli, cauli, onions, tomatoes, spring onions, silverbeet and lettuce! Now just trying to find chooks :)
