This is my second year's attempt to feed myself from my back yard. It's going pretty well so far although it might be beginners luck ( : Keen to learn what ever I can about growing veges and fruit from others in the same local area.

Hi Cherie, I have moved to the Horowhenua and am now collecting elderflowers out of my own back yard (OOOOBY ;-) ) but when I was collecting them from Upper Hutt I got them from the Moonshine park in Moonshine road by the River road. They are to the right inside the entrance behind the play equipment towards the river and road bridge. there is another bush in Trentham Park across the stream down the bank opposite the petrol station on Furgusson Drive. It was growing at the base of a shelter belt tree. there were also some along McClaran street near the rail tracks and on a walk way in the area. Good luck.
