I have a raised garden that supplies myself, my two children (my daughter is 11 and a vegetarian, my son is 13 and just eats everything). This is the second year that the garden has provided all our vegetables. This spring I am concentrating on herbs and salad vegetables in preparation for summer, the parsley has gone mad, the spring onions are flowering, the beans have collapsed their stakes - I've designed that bit all wrong, but will fix it. The celery is coming up. The rocket,sorrel, spinach and silverbeet are just divine. I'll plant tomatoes and basil tomorrow. Not doing carrots or potatoes this year, just for a change.
