We live in the middle of Texas, where gardening can be a challenge from the summer heat. We compost year round and have a no-till technique for the most part. We are learning about permaculture and dabbling with that. We like to preserve food. We like to use heirloom seeds whenever possible. We grow a big garden every year including but not limited to: Squash (summer and winter) Okra Beans Peas Tomatoes Peppers Cucumbers Potatoes Leeks Onions Lettuce Greens Corn Melons Carrots Gourds Grapes Flowers Spinach Blackberries
