I live at a beach in New Zealand, temperate climate. I started no-dig gardening about 5 years ago and haven't looked back. I've made over a foot of microbe-rich organic black earth already. Lots of worms. Things here grow so well this way, both my neighbours have converted! I run a couple of medium-sized worm farms and a barrel for garden tea fills off the small shed. This summer - tomatoes, corn, broccoli, capsicum, beetroot, lettuce, prickly cucumber, pumpkin, potatoes, assorted herbs. A couple of fruit trees just starting to produce fruit and a number of mature flowering trees.
