Tell us about your garden and what you're growing

I have moved into a house with a large and very beautiful ornamental garden. Now I am interested in the possibilities for chickens, a vege garden, hothouse growing and fruit trees. I see that it is important to put back into the soil what we take out, so am interested in composting (I have just started a layered heap) and I have a worm farm. I see the importance of building local capacity in our changing world.
