i have been growing food around my house and two of my neighbor's lots and selling the surplus at two farmers markets and one restaurant in the area.

My name is Becky. I live in New Port Richey too! I saw your YouTube bit on urban gardening. You have truly inspired me to step out of my gardening comfort zone! I have been wanting to meet you for a while. I was hopping I could get some advice from you. I am looking at a plot of open land in my yard right now that I was going to plant grass but why?! Please help me figure out how to get this thing started. I have an 8'x10' garden going right now with lots of things in it. I have been at this for 5 years or so but never felt so inspired to go for it like this. I need some mentoring. I know the importance of sustainable living and want to teach my family and friends. It's nerve racking, gardening and not getting too much out of it. I know I can do better. Can we meet up some time? I'm not too far from you and would be really grateful for any advice you are willing to give me.
