My garden - : ) where do I start? I have a lot of fruit trees that were only put in last year - Apples, pears, plums, a peach (freestone) ummmm feijoas, grape fruit, lemonade, meyer lemon, raspberries, thornless blackberries, grapes, an apricot, black currants. This year I've ordered Avocado, persimmon, Elderberry, Quince, cider apples, and a cherry, as well as rootstock, and scion for more pears and apples and cuttings for more grapes and figs. 2000 strawberry plants have just been planted too. Have some 5 yr old Asparagus, and some new crowns for purple, turmeric bulbs - they are new don't know how they will do, heaps of different types of garlic, shallots, clumping onions, silverbeet does so well here, makes the supermarket stuff look like midgets, lots of different types of potatoes- this year have pink fir and maori potatoes to try, grew kumara last year that worked well - was very sweet tho so will try a different type this year, pumpkins, zuchinni, broccoli, brussel sprouts, leek, tomatoes did very well for us last year, corn did ok but was in the wrong spot, apple cucmbers and telegraph cucumbers, beans, peas, carrots, lettuce etc we live out of the garden where we can. We actively compost and have a brilliant worm farm. We go organic were we can and try and keep the plants super healthy so they don't pick up pests etc.
