i have a smal urban garden which i have extended over 12 yrs -i intersperse veg with flwers.i'm attempting to espelier an apple tree.i have a lemon tree & a bay leaf tree in pots..i love it when plants self seed - ive got lettuce & mustard greens in my grass as a result of self seeding .i put my grass clippings on my gardens to give nitrogen & also keep soil moist .i have a can -o-worme & use the worm liquid & vermicasts on my plants.i get a real thrill when i can go out & harvest food from my own patch.i use various methods 2 keep my gardens watered - including a soak hose ,sprinkler & an irrigation system that i can add risers @`whatever distance i choose.I have these on a timmer so i dont waste water.My garden brings me lots of pleasure
