Tiny sandy plot about 200 metres from Muritai beach in Eastbourne. Lots of fruit (there was an orchard in this area pre-World war II) - we have a well-established fig and Meyer lemon, and since settling here in 2000 have planted a grapevine, productive feijoas, boysenberries, blackberries, blueberries and small herby trees eg bay, lemon verbena. The tomatoes are good this year. I enjoy trying to grow veg that aren't always in the shops eg (this year) heirloom tomatoes, okra, fennel as well as the usual kiwi backyard veg.
