I have gardening experience from the past (throughout childhood and greenhouse), but this is our first organic garden and it has been quite an experience. The first being that I am newer to Central Florida and had the challenge of starting an organic garden with what we wanted to plant opposed to just what was on the lists of what we should plant. We were able to grow radish, chives, onions, basil, cilantro, 4 varieties of peppers and 3 types of tomatoes despite the leafminer and aphid attacks. It has been an awesome experience for our family; even our rebellious teen that is still working towards eating all natural / organic foods.
