I live on a property of about 20 acres that is managed collectively on permaculture principles. My particular interest is rare breeds, especially chickens/poultry. The garden includes areas of vegetable production, orchards, pasture and forest restoration (for native birds). I see poultry and rare breeds in light of their value as part of an integrated permaculture system.
