Tell us about your garden and what you're growing

Whilst we have a large garden, it was previously just for ornamentation. 2 yrs ago we built 3 large raised beds on the lawn and last year added one more there and 2 others elsewhere. We grow lots of veggies, had such a glut of tomatoes this year that I could scarcely keep up with them! LOTS now frozen in all shapes and forms. We also grow beans and potatoes and the usual carrots and beet roots. I also have a great harvest of yacon and am looking for ways to use that as it will seem me right through the winter! Also growing is spinach, silver beet, NZ spinach, herbs, chickweed and cleaver as we are aiming to be more and more raw and I'm making lots of green smoothies.
