Tell us about your garden and what you're growing

My partner and I rent so haven't got as much freedom in the garden as we'd like. In the past we've moved nearly once every year (while we were students), but have finally built up a garden that is very productive. We've got in some fruit -strawberries, raspberries, feijoa and pepino We grow lots of types of veges: currently in the garden 3 types of garlic, 2 types of onions, beetroot, carrots, and a selection of brassicas. We aim to get all our veges over the summer from our own garden (except one or two like cucumbers) so grow tomatoes, carrots, spring onion, lettuce, courgette, corn, beans, sugar snap peas. We also have a herb garden - parsley, mint, oregano, marjoram, tarragon, rosemary. We also grow chillies. We love growing heirloom varieties, and usually try new types every year. The rest of the garden is flower beds: some permanent plants/shrubs and seasonal bulbs etc, mostly put in annuals - poppies, zinnias and sweetpeas in summer, stocks, sweet william and pansies for winter.
