Just moved house and establishing a viable garden. Lots of mushroom compost being used. Added bonus is the mushrooms that pop up between the veggies at this time of year. Currently growing corn, butter beans, tomatoes, chinese cabbage, broccoli, zucchini, butter beans, green beans, cauliflower, capsicum, endives and lots of mushrooms. I learnt the value of using mushroom composite in NZ after buying a place by the beach that had no viable garden. I ended up supplying the neighbours and convincing them of benefits of enriching their soil this way!
