Tell us about your garden and what you're growing

We've just moved to a 3/4 acre section in Little River, Banks Peninsula. Have started to plant out lots of veges, beneficial insect plants and some green manure. The ground is quite rocky in places and beautifully rich in others. There are, however, a few majestic gums in the area we want to plant out most of the garden and the soil around them seems quite sterile. Wondering if this is because of the eucalyptus? Keen to do some no dig gardens and build the soil up a bit.
