Tell us about your garden and what you're growing

We are slowly turning the backyard at the place we rent into more and more garden. We have 3 medium sized plots and have been gardening here for nearly two years. There has been a lot of trial and error and lots of learning! We currently have massive brocolli ready to eat and lots more on the way. We would love to be able to grow all our own brocolli for the season. We are a flat of 4 and we eat a lot of brocolli ;o) We also have kale, spinach, silverbeet, beetroot and more carrots coming on. Plus we have a small herb plot. While we have lots of compost and worm juice and feed our garden, we have not ventured into pest control in a big way aside from planting marigolds around the garden and making 'snail pubs', and would love to learn more about this.
