We moved in 6 months ago. I am gradually shifting the garden from a decorative one to a food producing one. So far I have planted 3 passionfruit, a mountain pawpaw, lime, lemon, grape, 2 feijoas and 12 chilean guavas. Come autumn I want to plant a mandarin, banana, avocadoes, nz spinach and another feijoa. My zuchinis and tomatoes have come to the end- I am going to plant more zuchinis and broad beans soon. My peppers are going crazy- I never had any joy growing them in Nelson. Preserving season is coming- we plan to make plum sauce, tomato relish and crab apple jelly (with fruit from our three crab apple trees).
