Finally finished renovating house in Chch, so then had enough of the aftershocks and moved up to Nelson.. I'd started by getting section skimmed and levelled. It was pretty flat anyway, but had pathetic grass and not much else. Friend took 4 days to cut out a HUGE flax to relocated to her section out of town. Installed 3 x 1.8 by .8 m raised veggie boxes and 2 huge 3x 1 m ones, and bought some veggies to pop in there meantime. Got tyres for growing potatoes, and planted some tomatoes against the fence. Brought a good composter with me and want to use a worm farm too.

    Yep, I remember reading your story on ENZ *hughug* great that you're getting on, no idea what I'd've done tbh. We have found jobs, so back to the grindstone on Wed! While little one gets to play all day, v jealous :) Would love to meet up at some point, but we're over in Hillmorton, so opposite end of town.. Whaddayareckon? Our container should be cleared in the next week or so though, so I'll finally have a few garden implements back if you want a hand digging something LOL

    hello! sorry I took so so sooooo long to reply! how's things?? we're hopefully moving into our own place next month so I'll be visiting this site a lot more - it has a veg patch, compost bins, fruit trees, I'm going to be in heaven. And busy, very busy LOL!!
