We live adjacent to an open canyon that brings us opossums, raccoons, & squirrels. For now, we're doing container gardening, with lettuce & herbs. Recently purchased vertical garden pockets to try root crops. If this fails, we'll use the front yard (less critters) although the area's adjacent to the road, and the suburban road's smudge concerns me.
