Tell us about your garden and what you're growing

I am currently making the most of living at home by utilising my mother's extensive plant and garden knowledge. We live in the suburbs and have a smallish front garden and a steep bush clad back yard. I'm in the process of setting up a container garden of winter greens; spinach, silver beet, lettuces. Already established are a couple of lemon trees and a herb garden with Rosemary, Thyme, Oregano, Mint and Parsley. I'm a total beginner gardener so am keen to learn from others. I also plan to join one of the community garden initiatives in the city. I enjoy spending time in the kitchen so would be interested in getting into preserving produce.
