Tell us about your garden and what you're growing

I am currently living in the suburbs and have a small front garden and bush clad back yard. I've started a container garden of winter vegetables; silver beet, spinach, spring onions and lettuces and we have two well established lemon trees. A herb garden is also well developed with wild mint, thyme, oregano, marjoram and rosemary. I am a total beginner gardener so am keen to learn as much as possible through social networking on sites like ooooby, reading and of course getting out there and getting my hands in the soil both at home and out in community gardens in the city. I also enjoy spending time in the kitchen so would be keen to do some preserving.
