Permaculture style garden. 3 chickens, 3 small mixed vegetable beds, fruit trees, loads of planter boxes with strawberries, parsley, coriander, flowers. Compost bins, worm farms, and all on a steep slope. I don't mission with weeds and have wild areas all over the place. I work where it is needed and try not to get too hung up about what a perfect garden should look like, or what I ought to have done last month. I love to share my eggs and herbs with my neighbours but best of all I love hanging out with my children in the garden just blissing on new tastes - like Cape Gooseberries - watching the insects buzz around and reflecting on what the storm did to our strawberries last week or just how big can zucchini grow anyway?
