I am a U.S. citizen bound for New Zealand in January to begin a PhD in Philosophy at the University of Auckland. My wife and I first became interested in supporting local organic farming enterprises several months ago after reading a collected series of essays on farming, food and agricultural methods written by Wendell Berry. Since then our interest in sustainable agriculture has only increased as we've begun to further educate ourselves on this subject. Though my wife and I are both new-comers to this social movement, we are both very excited about getting involved in whatever way we can.
