I have just built a raised garden that's comprised of four large beds set in wooden boxes. Two days ago my friend and I began planting them out with veges. No inorganic sprays in this plot! I have at least an acre and a half of land in total with an area set aside for veges, another around the house in flowerbeds, a smaller kitchen garden for herbs and salad greens and the rest of the grounds set out with formal plantings and very old trees and fruit trees.
