Being on a strictly limited budget and both of us having health issues which makes gardening a bit tricky, we try to grow as much as we can. Lettuces, potatoes, silverbeet, leeks, garlic, peas etc. I also am new at trying raspberries, have blueberries, rhubarb, blackcurrant, a blackberry, fruit trees - plum, pear, nashi, apricot (which has fruit for the first time in 14 years) walnut, feijoa and cherries (which the birds beat us to every year). Try to grow without chemicals - makes it a challenge as well as our harsher climate.
