we live on a 10 acre block and have very good soil for growing everything. We have 7 gardens at approx 12m2 each so are able to grow a reasonable amount of fresh vegetable. We have a 3yr old mixed orchard which is starting to produce well, although this year with the late frosts appear to have lost all our stone fruit but our nashis, apples and pears are cropping very heavy. We have mixed berries including boysenberries, raspberry and blackcurrents and are looking at planting some table grapes - 6-8 vines and would love some advice on the variety to grow in canterbury. We are in the process of planting our critus and including 2 passonfruit and 1 fig so will see how this goes.
