We started a container garden this year on our deck using the old recycling bins. we have been growing lots of herbs including, basil, parsley, tansy, fennel, sage, marshmallow, vervain, valerian, yarrow, wormwood, rosemary, mint chocolate, peppermint, chamomile, rue.... plus some veggies.....carrots, capsicums, toms, cucumbers (the star of the show), lettuce, broccoli, chillies, spinach......all in recycled bins.....wonderful! We are trying to grow heirlooms mainly, avoiding chemicals (of course) and learning as we go along. We also have a worm farm......lovely little creatures they are!
