  • Hello Stu, would be happy to trade some garlic but you will have to wait until next year - only have soft neck bulbs left for eating, a handful of small hard necks and lots of bulbils. I"ve already planted all my biggest garlic cloves. Am happy to share a couple of the bulbs I've saved for eating so long as you don't mind that they're small. If you've got the space and the patience, bulbils are a great way to grow lots of hard necks and they love the cold weather. I don't know the names of any of the garlic I grow, they''ve mostly been gifted by the lovely people here on ooooby :). What varieties of garlic are you growing? Do you have any photos. Would be interested to see pictures! Luckily my husband enjoys eating garlic although he doesn't share my obsession with growing it! Have sent you a friend request so that you can send me your address etc in a private message. I only grew one type of chilli and a capsicum this year, the latter came from Kali and is a very hardy short season one called Czech Beauty. It's in a pot and hoping to over winter it - my chilli is into it's third year so the capsicum should be fine so long as I don't over water it! If you have a paprika capsicum, would be keen to acquire some seeds. many thanks
  • hello and welcome to ooooby. Am not sure if he's still active here but Aaron has a pretty impressive collection of chilis and may be interested to swap seeds with you. https://ooooby.ning.com/profile/AaronBennett?xg_source=activity
I grow just one unnamed variety for cooking that has good heat. photo's on my page, message me if you want a couple of dried ones.
