I had lots of comfrey so I make and use comfrey tea. What does it do? Is it a fertiliser? Or is it doing some other function for my veges?
Any thoughts?

Comfrey is a must in any garden, just don't let the chooks have too much of it.
Comfrey tea is a liguid fertalizer pour it into a watering can and give the entire plant a shower of tea it also cets sucked up into the plants by the roots. comfrey sets its roots deep into the soil/clay and transfers alot of essential trace ellerment to the plant the roots help draw the trace elemints up from deep in the ground comfry is a great companion plant I laso use the leafs cut up as a mulch around my tomatos
