  • Hi Alyn - my wife and i are travelling around NZ in February & March, and interested in doing some Wwoofing... your profile says you are interested in being a Woofa host - is that something you are still interested in?
  • Hi Alyn
Would you like to come to the Oooobymeet at my place on July 19 and meet some of the other local Ooooby members? There will be opportunity to swap and share too.
  • Howdy from a Hawkes Bayite. I'm fairly new here. Your raised mini gardens are brilliant - best of luck, Mel.
  • Thanks a lot Alyn - that's been a big help. I was worried that if I thinned them out I'd end up with less capsicums, but what you said makes sense. I'll give it a go!
  • Thanks Alyn! We've been eating lots of silverbeet and zucchini because they've been so prolific, and we've had to dry lots of herbs since they've been doing so well too. It's so rewarding. :)

You might be able to help with something actually... :) Do you have much experience growing capsicums? I have 3 plants that are doing really well, new fruit appearing almost daily. Do I have to thin the capsicums out at all, so that the fruit grows to a decent size? If so, just how much should I thin them out? I can't seem to find any information on it anywhere!
  • Hello Alyn. Love your Farmini biz. Just what we need. Looking forward to seeing more from you guys.
