Tell us about your garden and what you're growing

It would not be too off the mark to say for awhile there, the story of my gardening attempts would have been titled “Going nuts over weeds while living with natives". Now transforming my bush-dominated urbanish backyard into an edible one, with the challenge of Wellington's hilly and windy aspects. Started small with planting fruit trees and a nut tree, finally made peace with my weeds (they’re edible - mostly!) and now in the process of liberating my lawn. I aim to integrate food and animal elements alongside natives, and get to that day when I can harvest loads of produce from my section - weeds, natives, nuts and all.
