Tena koutou katoa, Mangere Mountain Education Centre provides a few different services such as: Guided tours of Mangere Mountain looking at its natural history and ancient maori history (how Maori survived and lived on and around the Mountain); traditional Maori workshops such as making gardening tools (ko and timotimo), exploring the different gardening techniques of old and more. We also have a newly established Community Gardens, 'Toitu te Whenua Community Gardens' which we are very excited about.
