    Thanks for the link! Steve's downloaded the plans and is going to price up the materials and set about making one for us, too. Fingers crossed... Looks fairly simple. Let me know how you get on with your one.

    Glad you found me on Ooooby! We come to Auckland pretty often so we'd love to take you up on your offer. Keep me up on your top bar hive and bees, etc. We have so much going on - house renos, etc. - but want to get a top bar hive. making one would be way to hard for me! Did you find anyone selling anything decent or is that why you decided to make your own?
