Why do Biodynamics? How is BD different from organics?
An overview of the method based on international and local research.
Getting started with Biodynamics – practical use of the preparations.
From paddock to plate – what BD means from a nutritional point of view.
Saturday 16 October practical day workshop, rural Auckland North: 9 am to 5 p.m.
What are the Biodynamic Preparations and what can they do for your land? An overview of how the method benefits soil structure, plants, trees, pasture, hydrology, and animal health.
Using BD Preparations: demonstration, hands-on practice, stirring and application to rural lifestyle properties.
Good land management and use of the BD preparations, timed with basic lunar rhythms, offers a straight-forward method of improving soil health and lifting overall productivity.
Sunday 17 October, repeat of the workshop in rural Auckland South: 9 am to 5 p.m.
Lis Alington has been involved with Biodynamics since the early 80s. With a background degree in Agricultural Science complemented by a Diploma in BD her focus has been on the scientific basis of Biodynamics.
